Pozzi, Milan 1876

Pozzi Milano 1876 is a brand historically linked to the world of Italian fashion.
It was founded in Milan, at the end of the nineteenth century, as a men’s haute couture store founded by Felice Pozzi and established itself in the thirties of the twentieth century thanks to the entrepreneurial vision and talent of Claudio Tridenti, Felice Pozzi’s son-in-law.
Always looking for the highest quality, Claudio Tridenti Pozzi entered into agreements with the most prestigious fabric manufacturers and, for footwear, with the already famous Burberry and Church’s. The deep bond with the world of art and culture was always a great inspiration for Claudio Tridenti Pozzi and became a central element for the brand, finding its peak in the construction, in 1929, of Castello Pozzi.
After more than 25 years of research, Rinaldo Denti brings the Pozzi brand back to life and thanks to Diego Toscani’s entrepreneurial vision, they manage to list the company on the Stock Exchange on July 19, 2022. Castello Pozzi still remains the brand’s showroom today.

1876

Felice Pozzi founds Pozzi & Co. in Milan, a men’s fashion house. Not only will it offer clothes of impeccable workmanship, but for its customers it will become the creator of a particularly elegant and recognizable image.

1915

Claudio Tridenti takes over the management of Pozzi & Co., inherited from his father-in-law Felice Pozzi, and first of all invents what the Anglo-Saxons call the “brand”. Specifically, the first Italian men’s luxury brand.

1929

Castello Pozzi is born: the seat, heart and symbol of the house of Moda.Il Castello was designed by the architect Livio Cossutti, who became famous for the construction of the Galleria del Corso in Milan. Claudio Tridenti Pozzi made the facades unique with the iconic symbols of his brand.

1938

In 1938 he was appointed Cavaliere del Lavoro in the textile sector. No one before him, starting from an idea of “brand” and humble origins, had ever been able to make such an important rise.

1967

Tridenti Pozzi’s extraordinary artistic and professional career was interrupted with his death. Over time, people forgot about his history, his brand and the places where he brought his passion for fashion, culture and art to life.

2022

Rinaldo Denti, after more than 25 years of research, brings the Pozzi brand back to life, thanks to the vision of Diego Toscani. It has the ambition to establish itself in the current fashion landscape with a new business model, while keeping the roots and history of the brand intact.
